A History of PROBUS Clubs
Probus Clubs were formed as a project of Rotary International in England in 1967 and were established to meet the needs of retired business and professional people.
The first Probus Club in North America was started in Cambridge Ontario in 1987. There are now over 250 clubs in Canada. Clubs have also spread and thrived worldwide, including throughout Asia, Europe, the USA, India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Our Probus Club was founded in September 2009 and has operated continuously since then, including during the recent pandemic aided by ZOOM technology. In person meetings began once again in September 2022.
